On Tap @ the brewpub. The head is medium, the body brown and a bit cloudy. It smells malty, darkmalty, a bit hoppy. The taste is darkmalty-sweet, a little bit watery-mild, light and sweet. Overall ok! 9/10/10/9/-/10

Draught at the brewpub. Chestnut brown with a fluffy white head. dry taste on the palate. More like an English ale than a dunkel beer. Ok

Storm (2684) - Amager, DENMARK - AUG 8, 2006
Draught at the brewpub. Clear dark/red colour with a nice creamy head. Light aroma of malt and some touch of roastedness. Light flavour of roastedness, chocolate and quite fruity. Nothing overwelming but okey.

Jeppe (2631) - Brooklyn, Alabama, USA - OCT 13, 2004
Draught at Lemkes Spezialitätenbrauerei, Berlin.
Hazy amber/orange beer with a fine white head. Sweet caramelly and fruity aroma with orange tones. Mostly sweet malty and fruity in the flavor. Flower and nut tones also. Good for Berlin brewpub standards!

Draught at the brewpub in Berlin, 2004: Amber colored - tones of orange. Little fast diminishing head. Caramel taste and smell. Butterscotch taste. Warm moutfeel - kind of flat, fruity finish.

Maverick34 (2521) - New York, USA - APR 4, 2007
Draft. Pours dark caramel brown w/medium head. Aroma is hoppy and malty as is taste. Surprisingly hoppy really for a german beer. I don’t know if the flavor combination works, I don’t think I’d want another.

heavy (2270) - Split, CROATIA - MAR 26, 2010
06/03 Draught at the brewpub. It poured reddish to brown body with medium sized head. Strange malty nose, some smoked meat. Boring sweetish flavor made up from bit of coffee, somewhat caramel and hint of wood. Medium body, but it had long, sweet caramelly finish. Fine, ordinary and pretty boring dunkel, so typical. Unlike my friend, I found this Lemke beer to be least satisfying.

Dorqui (2127) - Brescia, ITALY - SEP 14, 2010
Draught at Brauhaus Lemkes am Schloß (Charlottenburg - Berlin).
Rather intense brown color with good bubbly aspcet. Creamy and adherent head. Bitterish taste with rivers resin notes, burned and aged wood, braced cereals. Perceivable alcohol but extremely balanced one.

NosirIwont (2105) - Aalborg Vestby, DENMARK - AUG 22, 2006
Draft @ the brewpub. Poured a clear, dark amber with a small yellow/off-white head. Malty, spicy aroma. Flavour is bitter, sweet and malty. Floating notes of caramel, licorice and chocolate. Sweetish. Notes of grass as well, and hops appear as it warms. Finish is hoppy and dryish with slight notes of caramel. A bit watery. 15-08-06.

tomer (2091) - Rishon Le Zion, ISRAEL - MAR 25, 2010
draught at the brewpub, crystal clear brown colour with reddish taints, aroma of light roasted malt and biscuit, medium bitterness with a toasty maltiness and some biscuit, a bit bland and simple
