Tap am HM. Deep, dark mahogany brown with a creamy tan head. Ultralight body, but creamy. Sweet and chocolaty with strong sticky fruit and mild yeast, low bitterness. By no means a stout, but does have some enjoyable porter character underneath the fruity cloy. :)

Draught. Dark reddish brown with a solid cream head. Aroma is sweet with a hint of vanilla. Flavour is malt with some fruit chocolate. Light toasted finish.

Draught. Medium high creamy and long lasting off-white head. Clear dark brown body. Mild and rather thin bodied coffee cream caramel roasted malt aroma and flavor. Low carbonation. Short aftertaste.

Brown not black beer, nice white head. Overall the feeling it’s a proper black stout with lot’s of water added to fool the tourists. Therefore brown, and very watery, hardly any hops noticeable, a nice but soft malt bitterness, some liquorice. Not bad after too many pilsners here in germany, but not a stout, and too easy, in the way marzenbeers are easy.

Draught@brewpub. Dark nut brown color, good beige head. Very light lemony hops and caramel in the nose. Flavor is wort and caramel - quick finish. This tastes more like a dunkel than a stout.

Draught at Brauhaus Lemke, Berlin. August 08. Lemke’s seasonal beer. Poured dark brown with a medium brown head. Sweet malt aroma, chocolate and coffee bean nose. Flavour is similar with a smooth and bitter finish. Pleasant brew.

This is a nice stout, deep dark(almost black color, nice thick foam. A little sweet in the nose but the palate is bitter all the way of roasted malts and hopps. The best beer of the s brewery.
