UPDATED: FEB 8, 2011 Sample at the brewpub. The beer pours a solid brown color with a medium tan head that recedes steadily. Top ring of lacing with spots beneath. Aroma of toasted malt and nuts. Medium, smooth body with flavors of sweet malt, roasted nuts and a touch of hops. The finish is sweet and malty. Slightly above average overall.

Tranparent medium brown color with a thin tan head.. Malty, caramel aroma with a caramelly, molasses taste.

Overall all a solid brown, nice nutty taste and not overally sweet. It’s plain, but 99% of browns are, but I would say this is the 2nd best brown I’ve had.

this is the brewery’s newest offering.on tap only.this brown ale poured a light brown body (imagine that) with no head.i gathered lots some chocolate and malts in the aroma and flavor.very well balanced and easy to drink.this is a good brown ale.
