Aroma: honey, malty, flowery. Appearance: hazy straw color, poor white head. Taste: low bitterness (herbs), floral notes (perfume), malt with honey. Palate: low body and medium carbonation. Overall: Old one thus its taste very pretty bad. Nothing special.

Riecht bananig, schmeckt doch ziemlich süß-fruchtig und schaumig. Kann man trinken.

nice, very tender banana-malt nose, but tastes way too sweet, with not enough bittering hops to balance it. Also, this odd metallic-sulphuric overtone, like in all the organic beers I’ve tasted so far. Not too bad, though.

UPDATED: JUL 6, 2014 Rotating Draught@cafe Atlantik, Freiburg. - rather underwhelming, watery Helles that is too shy of hops and body to be called a pilsener. Not much to dislike, nothing much to like. Very light-bodied. Carelessly shy use of advertised Tettnanger: please let a new generation of brewers for taste, not gulpability rebrew this?
Rerate +0,5, bottled 10/2013: curiously the delicate Tettnager perfume comes better to the fore in the bottled version, giving this light and soapy brew some much-needed character; more silky smooth body as well. //Rerate 06/2014 draught: this beer seems to vary slightly in "hoppage": the glasses I had today were extraordinarily fresh, sparkling with flowery hop zest and crisp malts...Drank back-to-back with Gaffel Kölsch in 0,2L servings and held its own in crispness. Pretty sure that was not the World Cup atmosphere’s doing.+0.3 until another dull bottle should hit me.

Screw-cap bottle (thanx to Quack-Duck!): Clear, golden, small white head, traces of carbonation visible; dryish herbal-hoppy nose, sweet pale malt detectable; soft, light bodied, dry bitter-sweet flavour; mild and lingering hayish and pale-malty finish. O.K. .....

(bottle, 33cl, courtesy of Quack-Duck) Clear, pale golden coloured and turbid hue with a blond medium-sized foamy head. Moderately sweet and strawy pale malty aroma with a metallic touch and citric and slightly herbal hops. Mildly bitter flavour, light bodied with a moderate carbonation. Slim pale malty and chalky taste with herbal hops getting stronger and slightly harsh towards the bitter and chalky finish. 21.IV.11
