La cerveza barata de Tailandia, suave y sin sabor, para chupar denoche con amigos en la calle y mamarse con litros. Antes de acostarse es necesaria una pastillita para el dolor de cabeza.

Very tipical low quality lager. Watery, bitter and very borring. Honey-corny-malty flavor with mild acidity and low bitterness.

How is this stuff so cheap in Thailand? It is easily the best beer available at the price point and it is available everywhere. Many a night were spent at Home Bar, drinking as many as eight 22oz bottles of this stuff-- hangovers weren’t pleasant, but probably not as bad as drinking one or two Changs. Mostly corn, less chemical than its competitors.

Bottle in Thailand. Yellow gold with a white head. On the nose is alcohol and I’m wondering how strong this is (5.5% I later learn), corn and a whiff of hop. Taste is alcoholic harshness and some light bitterness. Bitter finish.

Probably the best beer to drink in Thailand. It is about as tasteless as Tiger, which is a good thing considering the foul options, but it costs less. In the kingdom of the blind, the one-eyed man is king.

A pale blonde lager with a thin white head. In aroma, a light sulfury malt with light sweet notes. In mouth, light chalky malt with light sweet fruityness, not offensive, but not really good either. Perfect for 27C humid weather. Bought for 30 B at a 7-11 close to my hotel, BKK.

Not hard to find in Bangkok. Light to look at and light to taste. Adjunct laden and leaves a slightly sticky corn-like flavour. Rather inoffensive I guess you make the most of what’s available.

Ljus vätska, fruktansvärd äcklig doft, smakar mest smör och soja. Inte något att dricka igen.
