1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20 gyllenbock (1608) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - MAY 1, 2011
Bottle bought in Bangkok.
Very light golden with a white head. Boring aroma and taste. Sweet, butter, bread. Very light mouth feel. Once in a liftetime experience.
3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 OneBrewru (11) - JAPAN - APR 23, 2011
A crisp, clear color. Finger thick head takes about a minute to die down. Looks like a lager should.
Aromas of slightly roasty malts, buttery, and sweet citrus hops. Not bad.
The taste is a little like… buttery movie popcorn with a light hop touch. Definitely some corn flavor. Not bad (for Thailand)
The mouthfeel is light and crisp, medium follow through.
I could have a few of these.
2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 mzaar (345) - Varberg, SWEDEN - MAR 27, 2011
An ok lager from the Singha-company. And not much is different in taste or aroma. I tried it, and I drank it, and I would have forgotten all about it if I didn´t have my notes about it.
1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 hirigalzkar (1320) - ENSKEDE, SWEDEN - MAR 22, 2011
Bottle. Uninspiried, but not bad tasting, lager beer. Sweet and "neutral", I guess. Not 100% clean maltiness, but not cheapisly watery either.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 skoisirius (1029) - Seattle, Washington, USA - JAN 24, 2011
Sitting somewhere on Phuket at 2.30am...eating some prawns...and drinking a Leo...on ice! Honestly the first time I’ve had brew on ice. It’s...water. But goddamn right here right now when there’s nothing else available...it’s fucking great!
2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 8/20 deanso (1294) - the Hague, NETHERLANDS - JAN 7, 2011
50cl bottle in Bangkok.
Pale lager colour. Decent head. Ok lager. Good when it’s 30c outside. Probably the best of the Thai lagers
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 Dickinsonbeer (5077) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - DEC 26, 2010
Fresh cans, bottles, and 660 ml bottles. All drank within 2 weeks of bottled on dates. Shit moves quick in Thailand apparently. Pour is very light golden straw, high carbonation, white head- fades to nothing, no lace. Aroma is grass, acetaldehyde, green apple, rice, light barley bread, cracker. Flavor is off- fusel, paint thinner, nail polish acetone, grass, herbs, crackers, rice, corn, light bready barley malt. Refreshing and dry, but not good. Easily drinkable in the dirty heat of Thailand.
