A- Grain, watery.
A- Dark amber color, hazy liquid, minimal head.
T- Grains, corn, slightly malty.
P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, malty finish.
O- Not much to remember here. Maybe just a tinge better than the average Mexican pale lager.

Maybe a step above your average Mexican lager. Not saying much. It wasn’t good, just wasn’t so bad I wanted to spit it out.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Light brown, has a toasty/toffeeish note. Medium body for an industrial dark. Ok, one of the better macro darks in Mexico because it is more balanced and unlike the more famous ones it doesn’t have any tartness in the finish.

Bottle. Un-imaginative macro suds indistinguishable from many other similar beers. Perhaps a bit more flavor cf some other MX beers but still pretty bland and flavorless.

I paired with a banana bread and it lightly enhanced the beer flavor, much more than wit savory snacks/food. Not much taste though and it feels light and diluted on the palate. Slightly fizzy.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
The "dark" option at a resort in Mexico. Darker than all the Mexican lagers, to be sure, but still not very exciting.

1.7 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
a weak beer with modest head and barely any flavour. Seems incredibly light for the style. Soft cardboard flavour with a hint of lemon. Boring, forgettable.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Poured from a 1.2 l glass container. Deep amber with no head. Fruity aroma from the Modelo yeast and faint maltiness. Becomes grainy as it warms up. Sweet front and dry finish that becomes slightly bitter, but as if from the dark malts, not from hops. Light body, quite refreshing with some dark character. It does what it should.
