6 pack of bottles from the Mega in Cozumel for 46 Pesos. Thats about four bucks for you non travelers. total ice tea brown with limited head but steady carbonation. A lackluster waterd down body that has hints of chocolate and crystal malts....a first on this trip...lesse hints of hops... finally a beer without a lime! Tingling sweet finish is also lackluster. A step up from the pale lager avalanche that is Mexico, but not a big step.

Bottle, an amber-coloured beer with a mediumlightbrwon herad, non-lacing, disappearing fast. Not a clear, but also not a hazy beer, a bit inbetween the two. The smell is light grainy, light malty and very weak. The taste is light grainy, some caramel notes and a light bitter finish. A very light beer, too light in my opinion, but good drinkble. Overall nothing very special about this one.

In Playa Del Carmen, this pours a nice deep amber into the glass, with a wispy eggshell head that dissipates.... no substantive lacing. Typical Modelo-styled bouquet, with faint malt accents destroyed by a metallic, tin aroma. The body and palate are off-kilter for a vienna.... the mouthfeel is far too thin with bright carbonation, and very sparse caramel malts hitting and missing on the tongue... Their seems to be some tannic acidity from tea leaves intermingling in there somewhere, but muddy yet again. The flavors are backed with that oh-so-recognizable Modelo hop to the finish.... the one that never fully develops past a musty earth & pepper tone. Sure, it’s a different style, but unfortunately, Grupo Modelo bottles many unilateral and "alike" brews.... this one being a prime example... their version of a vienna. I’ll bet you in a blind taste test, you couldn’t distinguish 10 of their offerings apart from one another.

Can, found this while on vacation in Mexico at one of the major grocery outlets. Amber, just darker than fat tire. Very effervescent in mouth, slightly malty with almost no bitterness. Finishes off with a non-lasting slightly sweet flavor. Easy to drink, super light mouth feel.

Bottle. Pours a dark amber color with a small tanish colored head. Nose is light caramel with some roasted malt notes. Body is thin with a fizzy feeling. Flavors are light roast malt, some caramel, and toast.

Bottle - 325ml. Limpid copper body with a thin white bubbly head. Thin malty/hoppy aroma with subtle toasty hints. Taste lacks complexity and ends with a short bittersweet finish.

Pours copper with a thin white head. Smells toasty and dry with some peppery splashes. Tastes of tea, some sweet malt.
