Bottle while on honeymoon in Cancun. Amber body with fair white head. Malty and toasty aroma and flavor, almost nutty. Light fruity finish. Better than some, but far from good.

I had this beer on vacation in Mexico, poured out into a glass. It had a clear, brown-dark amber color with a faint, foamy white head that quickly disappears. The aroma was earthy and grainy, featuring hops, with a touch of caramel malt. Its flavor is mostly sour with some slight bitterness; basically no sweetness. It has a watery, thin body, with very light carbonation. I had hoped it would be better, but still one of the better mass-produced beers in Mexico I suppose.

2.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
I was for 2 weeks on a holiday in Mexico. I taste several local beers. First of all I’ll give a general personal opinion. All the beers were served to cold. There was no, or almost no foam. If you ordered a beer, you always have to ask for a glass, which is also very cold. Always there was a lemon in the bottle. If you like it and put the lemon in your beer, than every beer would taste almost the same, because of the strong taste of a fresh lemon. The temperature in Mexico makes it understandably to serve cold beer. But you loose the real taste of the beer.
I thought I ordered another light colored lager. I haven’t red something about the beer before. Therefore it surprised me that the beer was light amber colored. also a clear beer. The aroma is a little malt and has some caramel. The taste is a little bitter and some sweet caramel. Absolutly not a bad beer.

When it runs you 15 pesos you can’t really go wrong- that being said it’s pretty watery, but goes well with the spicy things I eat with it when in Mexico.

2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Light bodied, pours a clear reddish brown colour, virtually no head, traces of scattered white lacing. Taste is a little watery, overall this beer is refreshing, and ive enjoyed it on several occasions in Mex.

Bottle. Average bubbly white head that mostly diminished. Spare lacework. Pale amber color with a sparkling body. Light toasted malt, caramel, straw and a hint of metallic notes as well. Light bodied with an average carbonation and light dry texture. Light sweet flavor with a hint of bitterness. Light sweet caramel ending.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
12oz Bottle: Snatched up from a friendly back-street window in Cozumel, Mexico for a buck. Poured brown, a small amount of head. Aroma was hard to discern but I sensed a bit of malt. Mouthfeel was quite bubbly but reasonable, and the taste was nice and caramel sweet. Far better than I’d expected to find in my quest to try as many Mexican beers as possible!
