Just 3 grains and 3 hops are transformed by a long maturation process to produce a full bodied slight amber beer with a refined balance of floral and citrus notes. Its thick creamy head and bitter aftertaste result in a seductive yet robust drinking experience.

Bottle 33cl from Mondial de la bière. A copper beer with huge head and good retention. Nose is intense on juniper and floral notes. Aroma is on the same, sweet malty, again this juniper notes that became a bit disgusting.

Medium offwhite head. Clear amber body. Spicy lavender aroma with perfumy soap notes. Dry spicy lavender and wood taste with herbal notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dryish fruity spicy lavender aftertaste with wooden butterscotch notes. Nice, but ordinary. Almost identical to several other beers this trip. (0.33l bottle at Heeren van Liedekercke, Belgium.)

Pours golden with white head. Aroma is citrus, love hearts, spices and ginger. Round palate. Aftertaste is dry spices, fruity, some wit and lingering dry finish. Overall: Nice one. Easy to drink and not the most complex Belgian.

On tap, 33cL. @Festival_Namur. An opaque orange yellow beer with a huge white head. Medium persistence. Good lacing. Fruity aroma (orange), spices (coriander), herbs, ginger (?). Light sweet, medium bitter. Medium body and texture. Average to soft carbonation. Bitter finish. Overall a good spicy belgian ale. Refreshing.

Golden color, creamy, long lasting white head. Grain, toffee, little of citrus in aroma. High carbonation, medium body. Taste is yeasty, a little of apple, burnt sugar, cinnamon... Deep, complex and very easy to drink at the same time.
