acrdz (4148), Pennsylvania, USA Jan 2, 2008 Draft at the brewery. Golden color, standard appearance. Typical recipe for a blonde or golden, basically, smelling and tasting like a kit brew, with faint sweetness, light straw and honey notes, a little green/vegetal, a little sour. Finishes empty. A very basic beer. CharlesDarwin (1333), State College, Pennsylvania, USA Dec 20, 2007 On tap at the brewpub. Skanky rotting banana aroma, light cheese rind and some dried dead grains. Pours a much too clouded gold, with a fluffy white head above. Tastes dead. There’s compost, and bad off-flavors, undue yeast byproducts, and just plain messiness. Rubbery. No hops. There’s something wrong on many levels here. The house yeast spits out lots of bad things in line with unclean minerals, and the hops just taste like death. They have a palpable dead plant taste. Gross. Tmoney99 (3429), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA Aug 13, 2007 Draft at brewpub. Poured clear pale color with an average frothy white head that was mostly lasting with fair lacing. Moderate sour citrus aroma. Light to medium body. Light sweet flavor with a light sweet finish of short duration. Sweet drinkable beer.
