Bottled, as Leroy Mild Bruin. Hazy copper colour, mid sized firm head. Saccharine aroma. Very sweet with light body and clean mouthfeel. Dominated by artificial sweetener. Strange how much less apetizing this is, compared to the blond one.

Frovigalning (2024) - Örebro, SWEDEN - OCT 14, 2012
Sample at SBWF 2012. It had a smell of earth cellar among other things. Sweet taste with honey and sugar. Almost like drinking wort. Nice taste, but worse smell.

Bottle. Pours a brown color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity sweetish caramel aroma. Sweetish very sweet caramel flavor. Has a sweetish weak malty caramel finish.

2/07/2011 75cl bottle @ Oostendse Bierjutterij (2011-302)

Note: This rating should be seen within it’s particular style, being a Belgian "Tablebeer". This is a low alcohol beer that was drunk until some decades ago, in every Belgian family during lunch or dinner. Instead of soft drinks, the kids also drank a small glass of this beer.

Little cloudy red brown beer, small white head, unstable and adhesive. Aroma: bread and malts, light caramel. MF: light but ok carbon, light to medium body. Taste: sweet, sugar, bit of caramel, then citrus notes and bitter hops. Aftertaste: bit sweet, caramel, bitter ending. Surprisingly tasteful for a tablebeer and although still sweet, it has more hop notes than anticipated. I’ll be serving this to my kids, when and if I will get any. ;-)

Another beer to mark off the list. Has its place right among the other questionable low alcohol beers.

The bottle looks very simple, the beer in the glass is okay. The beer starts malty and sweet, the finish is very washy. Easy to drink, but nothing special.

Yesterday. Bottle, 25 cl. Clear red brown with a beige head. Aroma sweet malts, bit grain. Watery body. Taste sweet malts, grainy and a very little hops. Bit more sweet as the blonde leroy bock.
