DruncanVeasey (6952) - NUNEATON, Top 24, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - NOV 27, 2008
Gently herbal hop snout with light conifer, hay, bread, honey, tiniest hint of orange. Clean, grassy and lemony with a touch more spruce, noble presence, fruit, bitterness than a bog standard pilsy lager. But not much. Inoffensive but drab.

sayravai (4667) - Helsinki, FINLAND - AUG 4, 2008
(Draught@Kaisla) Slightly hazy yellow with a small, lacy head. Mildly buttery, quite strongly grassy aroma. The flavor is reasonably crisp and grassy-hoppy with some honey-buttery notes. Light to medium body with medium carbonation. A reasonably crisp, refreshing, and very clean lager/pilsener.

mjs (4278) - Helsinki, FINLAND - AUG 4, 2008
(Draught at Kaisla as SAS Pils on 2008-07-30) Golden. Clear. White medium-sized head that didn’t last long. Dry and little bit sour and hoppy nose. Medium-bodied palate, dry and lot of carbonation. Hops, yeast, bitterness and tiny amount of oatmeal porridge in taste. Hint of fruitiness. Long harsh aftertaste.

mabel (5371) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 25, 2008
[1170-20080302] Tap. Smells a bit like honeyed ham. Clear, yellow brown body with a medium-lasting foamy white head. Flavour is a bit of sweaty lemons, finishing with sweetly citrus notes. Light body, refreshing. Weird, gives a bad first impression.

jercraigs (7348) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 14, 2008
2008-03-02. As Sas Pils. Crisp yellow body, modest white head and slight lacing on the glass. Mosdest grassy straw and hops in the aroma. Pleasant light bitterness throughout, noble hops, light notes of grass and straw. Average palate. Refreshing change after a day of Belgian style brews, but an average pilsener at best.
On tap at De Kollebloeme, Ypres, Grote Markt

Bottle 25 cl. Yellow color, white head. Thin body. Aroma little hop. Taste sweet, at the end little bitterness. Not bad for a pils.

Draft Tasted on a beer tasting day. An average pils with some hoppy smell. A little bitterness. Just average pils
Earlier Rating: 4/30/2007 Total Score: 1.1
A typical pils smell, but the beer for me had not much taste and no after taste neither. Was on 9th place out of 10 pils beers for me.

thebeertourist (4667) - Oslo, NORWAY - OCT 6, 2006
Bottle bought at the Ipswich Beer Festival. Clear, pale golden colour, almost yellow with a big eggwhite-like head. Aroma is marked by perfumy and grassy hoppiness. Malty and sweetish start to be followed by more hoppy flavours. Quite clean finish. A bit watery texture, but good carbonation. A pilsner just above the average.
