Bottled. A light golden beer with a white head. The aroma is sweet malty with dusty notes of hops and light notes of cardboard. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and cardboard, as well as light notes of straw, leading to a dry cardboardy finish.

5.0%, SAS Pils AKA Leroy SAS Export, gold colour with a nice head, not much aroma and not a bad taste for a Pils.

Bottle, as SAS Pils. Very pale gold with a white head that lasts. Aroma is grainy and a bit corny with herbal and floral notes. Sweet and a little bready with modest but pleasant herbal bitterness that lingers.

Golden, fizzy and white head. Thirst quenching. More yeasty than I’d expected. Dry mouthfeel, but very drinkable. Light, maybe. It’s okay. (On tap at De Bonte Koe)

Draught, as SAS Pils at this smelly but kinda cute strange place in central Ypres. Golden colour, thick white head. Dusty hoppy nose. Dry hoppy herbal taste with a nice honeyish note in the end. A likable, drinkable little pils that one could enjoy in larger amounts. Fresh and a nice surprise.

Pale green (OK, the colour of my piss, and I always presumed that was green), tiny head. Citrus aroma, almost lemonade. Lively carbonation. Light body, quite thin. Simple grains, a touch of wheat, and more of the citrus. Very easy drinker, but really not so exciting at all. For summer at least it’s light and crisp. Certainly lightweight, but not bad in the way that lunatic oh6gdx implies.

Bottle 25 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Comes as "Crack Pils". Clear pale golden with a dense white head. Aroma of malt and a little sulphur. Medium body, good maltiness, again a hint of sulphur with some flowery accents with a dry, lightly bitter finish. Quite decent. 030409
