COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The traditional brewed stout, used to be a part of every brewery. This tradition may have been forgotten by some, but our locally brewed stout is still alive and kicking. The dark brown color with a slightly tanned foamy head, are inviting you to enjoy the slightly sugary sweet and very discreet candy aroma with slightly toasted malty notes. The sweet flavor, medium to light bodied with a soft carbonation brings out the dark caramel taste.. The aftermath complements the slightly fusty woody touch and sweet finish. 10.8į

Bottle; pours dark brown with some reddish tints with a beige head; aroma is sweet with roast malt, sugar, and a little caramel; taste is quite sweet with no really stout bitterness; kind of disappointed in this one

Bottle from Beer52. Pours dark brown/black half a finger off white head. Aroma of malts, spices, toasty malts, sugary sweetness, caramel, honey. Taste of initial sugar, caramel, almost a malt liquor, toffee, sarsaparilla, light smokiness. Not bad, just very sweet.

Bottle. Bought this a little blind. Nose: Non-existant slight malt a little sugar and wet cardboard. Taste is horrific. Sugar and sweet malts, with a sickly finish. Slight emerging milk chocolate, but really itís just sugar. My first Het Sas beer, and I will not be rushing back, I canít recall a worse Belgian beer.

Robe brune, assez limpide. Pas de mousse. Saveurs de cafťs et fruits noirs. Peu de texture. Moyennement longue en bouche. Une Stout passable.

Bottle. Creamy off-white good mostly deminishing head. Dark red amber colour. MOderate malty and light hoppy and light yeasty aroma. Light bitter flavor. Molre fruity notes than roast and chocolate. Average finish. Oily palate. Typical belgian stout. More fruit than dark malts.

mikkellund42 (645) - DENMARK - MAR 1, 2015
Bottle. Pours black with small light brown head. Aroma is vague with hints of malt, coffee, apple pie and barnyard. Taste is very sweet, light acidic and faint bitter. Body is oily with light carbonation. Finish is long and mostly sweet with notes that follow the nose. Itís more like a sweet schwartz bier than a stout.

beige dense head leaves some lacing. brown colour. so far so good. aroma is very sugary sweet, faint hit of roasted malts. taste is a complete sugary mess that tastes like sugar and nothing else. calling this "beer" is a total insult, calling it "stout" even more. no body, over carbonated. a repulsive mess, even my sink didnít like to swallow it! bottle 33cl
