3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. A clear, dark golden to brown beer, with a small, off-white to light beige head on top. The aroma is malty and lightly roasted, with caramel and some grassy nops. Medium sweet flavor with roasted malts and caramel. Medium to full body, quite dry, and pleasantly carbonated. Roasted finish with some metallic notes. Like most brown ales, it’s rather boring, but it’s tasteful and easy drinking. 110930

This is my 100th raiting, so im quite stoked! I bought this brown ale at ICA Stakkevollan, Tromsø. Pours a dark amber body with a beige head. The head is fluffy at first, but disappear relatively quickly. Aroma of coffee, caramel and bread. Taste is smooth with some sweetness at the end. I must admit that this is not a bad brown ale, since it was bought at the supermarked.

Flaske: Brun klar øl med et lille skumhoved. Duften er let brændt malt. Let sødlig. Smagen er forholdsvis tynd, uden humlebid. Ikke en super Brown ale.

Never tried a Norweign beer and in the oil town of stravanger - I also purchased at @ Irma, close to Nørreport, in Kobenhaven. Pours rich chestnut brown. Aroma has caramel, mocha, some almond. Good carbonation, fair dry and a little bite mouthfeel. Flavour has light watery notes, leaving some metallic notes. Good nuttiness with toffee malts. Light hops with firm bitterness. I like this brown ale.
