Bottle in Grebbestad. Clear dar amber beer with a small white head. Dried dark fruits, malty aroma with some nice leather notes. Hoppy, malty flavour, a bit bitter. Nice beer :-)

Bottle, from a trade with Cunningham. Amber color with a nice offwhite head. Nutty aroma, barnyard, roasted, chocolate, dark bread, some spicy notes. Chocolate flavor, cocoa powder, roasted, some fruits, metal, notes from vanilla. Quite a pleasant brown ale, with a nice mouthfeel. Chocolate finish, cocoa powder, vanilla and some hay.

A bottle at ICA: Pours a clear brown colour with a small head. Aroma is caramel malt with a kind of "metallic" smell. Taste is pretty light. There is some nuttiness. Some macro-ish type flavour in there as well. Caramel is pretty minimal. This is not very sweet, but rather bitter without much hop character. It is an OK, but not great Brown Ale.

Bottled. Dark Brown coloured. Light brown head. Aroma of caramel, light fruits, light sweetness, some herbs. Flavour of caramel mild roast, sweetness, vague toffler. Medium bodied. Ends caramelly and slightly bitter.

Not a bad brown ale. Not overly sweet but fairly balanced. Light wood appearance, decent head. A bit of caramel, some brown sugar, and a nice medium body. Tried in Norway during the cabin weekend near Fredrikstad, 2012.

Pours a medium mahogany, beige head.
Nutty, toasted aromas, caramel, toffee, hops, chocolate.
Off-dry, medium body and bitterness, balanced CO2.
Roasted, nutty taste, caramel, hops, chocolate, earth.

0,33flaske. Behagelig men litt tilbaketrukket aroma men hint av sjokolade, nøtter og humlestreif. Så også smaken: behagelig uten å utfordre ganen. Godt butikkøl, men uten tydelig personlighet som f.eks. Lucky Jack.

Bottle @ home May 16,2012 with a steak.
Easy to drink and a average beer.To thin in my opinion to handle a steak.
