Bottle at ÖÖWF 2012. Aroma: lot of caramel, some notes of sweat. Tastes a bit raw, sweet and burnt sugars. A bit bland.

Another one from abemorsten (huge thanks!). Poured a brown-amber body, clear, with a tiny off white head. Light malty nose, slightly caramelly, very light roastiness. The taste is more roasty, malty and vaguely creamy, somewhat grainy. Ok, a solid brown ale.

0.33 l bottle from abemorsten, thanks! It poured clear deep brown body with small brownish head. Simple sweet caramel aroma. Flavor was moderately sweet dark malty with slight bitter roasted note. Medium body. Some chocolate shows in the finish besides caramel, but it’s mostly quite simple, although pleasant brew.

330 ml bottle. The aroma is fantastic! The body is fine, but it tastes way too bitter compared with the well-balanced aromas, and it lacks a little ’fizzyness’.

ekstedt (5404) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - SEP 6, 2012

gnoff (7783) - Mölndal, SWEDEN - SEP 2, 2012
Draught at Bishops Arms Järntorget, on August 31, 2012
Clear dark red brown color, nice lasting flutty tan head. Fruity, plums, apple; berry, lychee, currants, lime scent; also some cream, as well as straw lying in the sun. Grains, sweet, nutty, minerals taste. Taste feels sort of unfisnished, hints to chalk and dry wall. Fruity and grainy aftertaste. Spritzy mouthfeel, medium bitterness that is more to the dry side.
