330 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABv is 6.5%. Golden colour, moderate white head. Aroma of catty and fruity hops (grapefruit, tropical fruits). The flavour is distinctly hoppy with a solid bitterness throughout. Quite dry. Decent enough, but as with many other single hop beers I’ve tried, it becomes too one-dimensional. Galaxy is a good hop variety, but is probably even better when combined with other varieties, for more complexity. Very bitter aftertaste.

Shared bottle. Poured a deep orange colour with a white head. Grapefruit, pine, some caramel sweetness, orange, mango, some grains, bitter aftertaste. Was expecting more with galaxy hop

Tap. Poured clear copper color with a medium frothy white head that lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate to heavy sour citrus hop aroma. Medium to full body with a tingly slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy citrus bittersweet flavor with a medium to heavy bittersweet finish of moderate to long duration. My expectations where met by this solid beer.

Tap @Speakloudly. Clear redish amber color. Medium size, creamy white head, stays. Fruity hops, sweetish, metallic, tiny bit of fart in aroma. Pine, fruity, bit of dry yeast, sweetish, faint dusty malts in taste. Fruity hops in aftertaste. Medium carbonation. Medium bitterness. Nice brew!

Semi-clear orange beer, soapy white head. Fruity, slightly sweet nose with malt and peaches. Flavor is citrussy bitterness, mild malt and caramel, long grapefruity and hop-oily finish with stern bitterness. Hop oil builds up in the mouth. A bit harsh. Thanks to martjoobolut for sharing.

UPDATED: MAR 18, 2015 33cl bottle@home in tulip glass. Approx 10 degrees C. Pours hazy amber with nice white head. Aroma of citrus and hop as expected. And yes, the promised bitterness is certainly there. Grapfruit - the bitter white bits - being the dominant taste. Did Lervig go overboard with the Galaxy from Down Under? Yes they did! So this is for hop freaks! Not really well balanced though there is a good maltiness. For those who are searching for a bitter hop kick however...there should be no holding back!

330 mL bottle at home. Delivers what it says on the bottle (grapefruit, citrus, etc.). Solid IPA and an excellent showcase of Galaxy. Very drinkable.
