3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20330 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABv is 6.5%. Golden colour, moderate white head. Aroma of catty and fruity hops (grapefruit, tropical fruits). The flavour is distinctly hoppy with a solid bitterness throughout. Quite dry. Decent enough, but as with many other single hop beers I’ve tried, it becomes too one-dimensional. Galaxy is a good hop variety, but is probably even better when combined with other varieties, for more complexity. Very bitter aftertaste.

Draught @ CBC 2013: Amber coloured. Hazy, Dense beige head. Aroma: Herbs, flowers, grass, tropical fruits, citrus and grape. Flavour: Dense flwoers and tropical fruits, lots of herbs, spice caramel and citrus. Medium to full bodied. Ends fruity bitter and citric dry.

CBC. Hazy amber with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty and moderate hoppy - citrus. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish. 040513

In bottle. Smells like peach and apricot. Tastes like white wood, white grapes. Dry bitter finish. Quite good.

Nice creamy longlasting head. Aroma is, lots of hops, cat piss, wet leafs, citrus peel, pine needles, grass, herbs, hay, some yeast. Taste is harsh, lots of hops, pine needles, bark, medicin, wet leafs, cellar, grass, hay. Longasting bitterness. Too bitter and harsh to my taste.

33 cl bottle from Vinmonopolet Vika. Pours hazy orange with a medium, offwhite/yellowish head. Hoppy fruity aroma of citrusfruits and some sweet fruits. Medium body, heavy bitterness, medium carbonation.

Golden, white head. Smells of mango, pineapple, orange zests, some tendensies of cat pee. There is also some disturbing in the back, it’s something that is burnt or sulfidic, it’s there and i don’t like the specific aroma but it’s very hidden in the back. May be a concern if the bottle isn’t quite fresh and the hops faded. Moderate sweet, some malts and fruityness, quite dry mouthfeel. Heavy bitter finish with alot of resins. A tropical bomb, very nice aroma hops; nice body, nice finish. A very nice IPA from Lervig to accompany their splendid Rye IPA. Hope that that aroma flaw is a mistake and that it’s gone the next time i buy a bottle

Tap at Black Door, Helsinki. Colour is clear dark orange with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Fruits, citrus, hops and bitterness. Very dry and citrusy.

Draft. A hazy yellow beer with a yellowish head. The aroma has notes of hops, straw, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of hops, malt, lemons, and straw, leading to a bitter finish.

Very citrusy, floral hop aroma. Golden with medium frothy white head. Quite flat, thin and bitter.
