Pitch black colour with a small brown head.
The aroma is roasted malt, dark chocolate, some ash, oat and mild sweetness. The flavour is very strong. There’s roasted malt, hoppy bitterness, ashy dryness, more dryness and some very much burned maltiness. This is very dry and very dark. And it’s very heavy and rich as advertised. Too heavy to be enjoyable.

0.33l bottle. Pitch black body, creamy light brown head. Aroma of coffee, chocolate, cream and some dark fruits. Coffee, plums, chocolate in the flavor with a decent floral hoppyness in the finish. Alcohol is a bit too obvious, but I like the full body and the really creamy texture. Awesome beer.

On tap at Mikkeller & Friends, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma of dark chocolate and roasted malt that dominate. Flavour brings out notes of dark chocolate upfront, followed by roasted malt and toasted malt. Very rich and complex, ending on notes of roast and deep dark chocolate. Excellent stuff.

Draft at Mikkeller and Friends. Pours black with a small beige head. Aroma of chocolate, roasted malt, licorice, coffee. Flavour is over moderate sweet and bitter. Full bodied with soft carbonation.

330ml bottle @Cimmeria, Oviedo. Nice sweet aromas, pours very black, opaque, creamy, with rich tan head, long-lasting, some lacing. Medium to full body, soft carbonation, creamy texture. Taste is sweet chocolate, some coffee and roasty notes, caramel, Well balanced. Really enjoyable.

Malty nose of coffee and chocolate. Dark brown head. Dark brown black color. Sweet malty taste with coffee and hops and espresso bitterness. Full filled taste. Alcohol well hidden. Good one
