Short-lived beige head over jet-black beer. Ureum, dry hops, dried saltmeadow herbs going to a certain coastaroma (DMS?) and of course bitter-roasted: intrinsically complex. Sweet-bitterish. Except for the urem, still there, perpendicular to the nose, weird. Rich-voluptuous-slick; vicous to chewy, full-bodied- need to say more? Rich, rewarding stout. Great to see Mike going from strength to strength, as from brewery to brewery! Great find, Stefaan!

33cl bottle. Pours black with medium light brown frothy head. Lots of chocolate notes and licorice on the nose. Taste is chocolate, sweet malts, brown sugar and hints of hops. No coffee. Mouthfeel is creamy, good carbonation. Actually sweeter than the average Imperial Stouts. Not bad, although I expected more from this.

Draught. Pours dark brown in color within beige head. Roasted malts, some coffee and notes milk chocolate in aroma. Initial taste is pretty sweet with some milk chocolate and notes of espresso as well. A bit on the sweeter side, but not in a disturbing way.
