Dark black body, creamy brown head, some lacing. Sharp aroma. Lactose, cocoa, roasty malts, almost a tingly sensation on the nostril, wet grains in dank barn. Taste is roasty, a touch of dried fruit, coffee, and an almost burnt maltiness. Smooth palate. Abv well masked. Not bad.

Turboninja (209) - Tampere, FINLAND - MAR 15, 2015
Bottle@UkkoMetso, Tampere, Finland. Strong aroma with toffee, licorice and some vanilla. Pitch black color with medium beige head. Strong/medium taste with licorice, toffee and some vanilla notes dominate sweet lightly roasted malts. The taste is so smooth that it almost hinders the balance. Medium taste spectrum and medium sweet and malty aftertaste. Full body with light carbonation. Overall high quality, tasteful IS with a bit too many sweet notes that hide the malts.

Bottle. Poured a black color with an average frothy brown head that mostly diminished with good lacing. Moderate to heavy roasted dark chocolate and alcohol aroma. Medium to heavy toasted dark chocolate flavor with a medium to heavy dark sweet finish of moderate to long duration. Full body with a smooth dry texture and flat carbonation. This is a solid beer.
