COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Konrad’s Stout is a new beer in the Brewer’s Reserve range, from Lervig’s head brewer Mike Murphy. A Russian Imperial Stout brewed with oatmeal.

Brownish two finger head on a black body with a slightly ruby edge. Few fields as lacing. Aroma; dark roasted juicy malts, dusty sweet hops, cow dung, dough, cocoa, spices and milky caramel. Taste; dark coffee’ish roasted juicy malts, prune liquorice, black black chocolate, fruity rubber hops, - leading to a semi dry coffee-chocolate’ish finish. Strong body and soft carbonation. Tasty sipper. [33cl br btl, abv10.4%, BB17.09.18, 6€ B@Vinmonopolet]

No foam. Nice look. Much more complex taste than it smells. Around 10%. Taste stays longer than expected.

Pours thickly a brownish head with warm chocolate aromas. Oil like body appearance. Nice chocolate taste and thickness and decent length. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
