3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 JanLaursen (2219) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - MAY 4, 2013
CBC, 2013. Hazy orange amber with a small off white head. Hoppy nose of resin, spruce, citrus. Some caramel and bready notes. Rich malty flavor, medium sweet, very hoppy, with a smooth, creamy texture and a dry, lingering bitter finish. Intense, very enjoyable.
4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20 Temptation (136) - - APR 29, 2013
Magnificent beer. Amber color with delicate reddish tones, white and reasonable lasting head, which leaves a deeply marked and consistent lace. Hoppy and complex aroma with traces of malts difficult to identify. Maybe bread, honey or wood. The palate is excellent, perfectly balanced and full, hoppy as well. The development is progressive, regular and longlasting, finishing in a dry and astringent final. High bodied and medium carbonated. Great.
3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 liinis (1343) - Helsinki, FINLAND - APR 22, 2013
Excellent beer. Lots of great hops and great malt character with sweetness balancing the strong bitter hopping. Pretty looks. Very good.
4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20 TyggaBrown (266) - NORWAY - APR 5, 2013
Really enjoyed this one. Kind of oily texture, much more complex and heavy bitterness than the galaxy ipa. The aftertaste stings with alcohol, and it smells and tastes more of grain and bread.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 FatPhil (7597) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - MAR 29, 2013
330ml bottle (Kaisla, Helsinki)
Smells of crystal malt-like mashiness, a bit stodgy. Cloudy orange. Swimming pool taste, and mashy malts. Grassy hops. Finish is grassy too. Basically a bit messy. The bloody barmaid swirled abd poured all the yeast into the glass, perhaps that spoilt the taste. The thing is, I don’t want to have it again to test that hypothesis. Definitely messy, and soapy later. Gets better when you get used to the mess, but still not good. Shame, I like rye.

Support the locals! This one's good. Lervig's American boss apparently knows what he's doing.
Good IPA :-)

Original rate date 12.1.2013, 33 cl bottle @ Olutravintola Kukko, Kemi.
A bit hazy, orangeish yellow beer with a foamy head. Sweet aroma has caramel malts, fruits and citrus. Flavour also sweet with malts and fruity hoppiness and some rye too. Quite sweet brew this one.
