Clear orangey amber colour with a small foamy head. Citrusy and fruity hops and caramel maltiness in the aroma. Sweetish malt, fruity hops, citrusy notes and more malt in the flavour. Hmm... Very malty.

0,33l bottle @ Kaisla. Pours cloudy amber with a low head. Aroma is malts with plenty of fruits. Flavor is malts with some fruits, a small hint of rye and lots and lots of hops. Really nice.

Pours clear orange with a foamy head. Aroma of caramel malts, sweet fruity hops and hints of citrus. Taste is sweet, malty with notes of fruity hops and sticky caramel and hints of rye. Sweet, malty finish with hints of caramel and hops. A bit too sweet and malty DIPA. Not very fresh either.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours hazy amber in color with a small white head. Tropical fruityness, some grapefruit and pine in aroma. Fruity citrus and nice grassy bitterness in taste. Some sweetness in taste as well. Tropical fruityness and a nice touch of grassy bitterness in finish. More like a double IPA this one.

UPDATED: MAR 9, 2013 On tap (8.5% edition) at Homo Sibaris. Glass: Pint. Orange-Copper colour with medium white head. Floral aroma, fruitiness. Taste is dominated by citrusy hops, with some bread notes added. Very well blended with malts, nice balance. Medium body and average carbonation. Good beer, and the alcohol content is perfectly masked.

010313. Tap at Nordic, Tampere. Pours slight hazy golden with a nice head. Aroma rye, hops. Citrus sweet taste. Hint of vegetables. Medium bodied. Not Bad.

Hanaversio reitattu. Kaatuu lasiin oranssinruskeana ja sameana, vaahto on sormen paksuinen ja todella tiiviin näköinen matto oluen pinnalla. Vaahto myös jättää vahvaa pitsiä reunalle. Haju on makean trooppisen hedelmäinen, lähinnä sitrusta. Lisäksi siinä on keksiä viljaisuutta ja pihkaa. Todella täyteläisen hajuinen, jossa hedelmä on pääosassa. Maku on hieman eri maata: pääosassa on nyt havu ja puumaisuus. Taustalta löytyy hedelmää, viljaisuutta ja leipääkin. Maku on huomattavasti "brutaalimpi" kuin haju, jää hieman vajaaksi. Suutuntuma on täyteläisen katkera, katkerot pysyvät juuri ja juuri hallussa, mutta näin pysyy kuitenkin aisoissa. Hieno ja katkera tuotos norjalaisilta, osoittaa, että Nögnen lisäksi tässä maassa on muitakin hyviä panimoita. Itse kuitenkin kaipaan IPAan hedelmäisempää otetta, puumaisuus saa monesti aikaan lievää karkeutta makuun.

Hazy copper /honey, one finger head leaves lacing and stays ok. Slightly roasted, caramel, tropical fruits, bit almost funky notes also. Flavor-kick: sweet and higly bitter, bit roasted caramel, tropical fruits, medium body, slick feel , soft carbonation, long tasty and bitter finish. Lots of personalality, nice nuances but also challanges with bitterness bunch.
