Editor’s note: First served on tap at 7.7% ABV.

Cloudy orange/amber body with not a lot of head or lacing. Dried fruit, rye bread, almost kvas-like, resin and hops aroma. Taste is initially bready and sweet then finishes with a very pithy dry grapefruit-rind bitterness. Interesting IPA.

Aroma is a bit flat for a double ipa, just mild hopiness... Looks light, medium carbo. Very bitter in first taste, sweet, rye malty, resinous.. Overall, very-very good rye ale and very nice double ipa combination.

Tap at Speakeasy by Põhjala. Clear amber body, head off-white. Loads of piney-resiny, but also soapy-flowery and fruity notes on the nose. Taste is very bitter with mellow sweetness. Citrusy, fruity and resiny. Oily mouthfeel, carbonation crisp, body medium. Not among the better DIPA’s I’ve had.

Nice and hoppy with a big, dry finish. More herbal than floral aroma. Hazy orange colour.

Tap at Speakeasy, Tallinn. Pours golden with beige head. Aroma is tropical fruits, mango, peach, citrus, some alcohol. Flavor is citrus, grapefruit, tropical fruits, mango, peach, a touch of spiciness (from the rye?). Finish is grapefruit bitter. Overall: ok.

Tap @Speakeasy. Clear amber color. Medium size, beige head, stays. Floral hops, bit dirty, malty, sweet aroma. Mango, tropical fruits, bubblegum, sweet in taste. What a horrible bitterness. Grapefruit tincture? Fortunately doesn’t last very long, but neither the less hits hard in late aftertaste.

Draft @ Uiltje bar. Pours a pale golden beer with a white head on top. Aroma of grapefruit, orange peel and fruity yeast. Flavor has loads of bitter and sweet citrus, grapefruit and orange. Malty, bitter aftertaste. Very nice stuff.

Semi-clear amber, medium off-white head. Nice, fruity, crisp and piney, finishes hoppy. The aftertaste is grapefruity and piney, but also sharply bitter. Shame about the aftertaste, nice otherwise.
