Lemony, honey malt aroma with very light vinegar. Standard 12 oz longneck. Boring label. Murky peachy tan. Not much head. Kumquat peel and cereal flavor. Unentertaining, not worth the premium. Beer Stop, Tallahassee.

Foggy orange with a huge head. Aroma is fresh hops with strong sweet malts. Taste is smooth hoppy bitterness, some sweet bubblegum and soapiness, sweet malts. Finishes bitter. Good ipa, missing the rye part but I think it's just me.

Top Class IPA, went down a treat with pizza. Everything you would want from a Rye IPA, super hoppy but a nice malt backbone with a hint of rye spiciness.

Keg at The Draft House, Tower Bridge, London at 8.6% ABV. Clouded amber with white head. There is an initial light toffee’d note to this, fortunately not overly so and it is soon enveloped by a smooth general fruitiness. The hops are there, I liked to think of Norwegian Spruce, slightly resinous. On the whole it is easy on the palate and very drinkable.

Draught at Mother Kelly’s, Bethnal Green on 17 Oct. Poured a hazy, deep golden colour, with a thin white head. Aroma of butterscotch, rye and violets. Toffee sweetness in the flavour, with some hay and flowery notes. Finish had some light lingering hop bitterness, biscuity malt and brown sugar. Seemed to have lost its hoppy edge somewhat.

4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Rich and yielding. Smells weakly of a pleasant graininess with hints of newly harvested hay and some fruit. The taste is hoppy with an accent of liquorice, hints of broccoli which stay until far out in the aftertaste. Feels healthy, as it gives the impression of a powerful vegetable.
With the sediments at the bottom of the bottle, the taste gets more complex - some milder malt notes, and a sharper hoppiness.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Keg at Draft House, 8.5% version. Golden orange, clear, sparkling, big white head. Aroma is mostly sweet caramel, rye spiciness. Body is medium, slightly foamy, low carbonation. Taste is syrupy caramel, boiled sweets, resin, pepper, tangy and dry. Big flavour but it’s a got a little too much toffee apple sweetness for me. Decent anyway.
