COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Editor’s note: First served on tap at 7.7% ABV.

MartinT (7746) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - JUN 9, 2014
My Bottom Line:
Grassy, orange-y hops scent this very enjoyable IPA, building on chewy cereals and resinous bitterness.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A sheet of foam tops the misty orange.
-The finish is long and very flavorful.
-Mouthfeel is dryish and effervescent.
-Rye doesn’t impose itself and instead adds a touch of depth.

Bottle.

Nocturne (746) - Cheshire, ENGLAND - MAY 12, 2014
Sample at Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2014. Clear mid-dark amber. Little head but some lace. Crisp, piney aroma. Taste adds berry fruitiness, caramel malt and a strong bitterness. I wonder how much rye was in the grain bill, because it doesn’t seem to figure too heavily. Good DIPA though.
