Editor’s note: First served on tap at 7.7% ABV.

Nice hoppy aroma. Pours with a minimal white head. The taste is dominated by the bitterness and then is the alcohol present together with the hops which tastes of grass and tropical fruits. I would like more hops in this one because it feels a bit flat and unbalanced.

Backlog rating. Keg at FOB, Rimini. It pours a hazy burnt orange color with a small off-white head. Aroma is hoppy and spicy, with notes of hay and tropical fruits. Taste is medium sweet and medium bitter, with notes of tropical fruit hops, black pepper, biscuit, caramel and red berries. Finishes dry and spicy, mildly bitter. Medium bodied with lilvely carbonation. Overall, really tasty

Keg at the Express Tavern, amber with a funky fruity nose with hints of apricot. Dry and spicy, with marmalade and toffee and caramel and peach and grapefruit bitterness.

Subtle but welcoming rye on nose, a big but balanced IPA with a satisfying finish.

On tap at Irreale, Madrid. Appearance: hazy, orange. Aroma: heavy, bready, malty, sweet. Taste: High bitterness, resin, dry fruits, honey. A bit too havy for me, and lacks some sour citrus contra, but this is the idea of rye ipa I guess.

Hazy as a mash. Sweet imperial aroma. Grainy and hoppy. Fruity taste, some strawberries also and florals. Full bodied but smooth and well ballanced. Huge kick of bitterness in aftertaste. Heavy.

Tallahassee, Fl. - Beer Stop - bottle - split with Aurelius, Murky, medium golden pour, light, soft white head. Light grainy notes, a touch of spearmint in the aroma. Solid flavor with some peachy fruitiness, a bit of cake mix sweetness, some rye mintiness. Thickish mouthfeel. Decent. .

Lemony, honey malt aroma with very light vinegar. Standard 12 oz longneck. Boring label. Murky peachy tan. Not much head. Kumquat peel and cereal flavor. Unentertaining, not worth the premium. Beer Stop, Tallahassee.

Foggy orange with a huge head. Aroma is fresh hops with strong sweet malts. Taste is smooth hoppy bitterness, some sweet bubblegum and soapiness, sweet malts. Finishes bitter. Good ipa, missing the rye part but I think it's just me. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Top Class IPA, went down a treat with pizza. Everything you would want from a Rye IPA, super hoppy but a nice malt backbone with a hint of rye spiciness.
