COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Editor’s note: First served on tap at 7.7% ABV.

Fad: Orange let diset øl med et stort skumhoved. Duft med en del simcoe, meget svag kattepis men en del citrus. Smagen er frisk og meget humlet med en fin bitterhed.

(Bottle, Monk’s Café Wallingatan, Stockholm) Amber colour, slightly hazy, with lasting off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with caramel, orange marmalade, crisp-bread, red fruit and lots of fresh citric hops. Malty, fruity taste with notes of caramel, bitter orange marmalade, red fruit and serious amounts of fresh, citric hops in the finish. More than medium body, slightly sweetish. Impressive hop presence, but the fact that it’s backed up by a solid malt profile makes it quite well balanced and drinkable. Very tasty. Lovely beer!

On tap at Henrik. Pours a clear dark amber colour with a small off-white head. Floral hops in the nose and some citrus and pine. A lot of malt and rye in the flavour. I also sence fruits and caramel. Has a slick mouth feel, and medium bitterness. A nice beer, and with a good balance.

Pours hazy deep amber woth a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, grass, pine and rye. Taste is medium sweet and medium bitter with a long malty, bitter finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

One of the better IPA’s i’ve tried. Aroma of caramel, raisin, a bit citrus. Fullbodied in IPA terms. Extremly hoppy finish. Advisable!

Bottle. Hazy golden color, massive cream colored head with good retention and solid lacing. Aroma of toasted biscuit with moderate spices. Taste spiced rye bread, pine and grass, bitter finish. Delicious.

Bottle in our quirky Oslo hotel. Hazy amber beer. Little off white head. Softish palate but with biting carbonation lurking. Sweetish malt, creamy with a little honey and with some caramel. Nice Rye spice. The hops are fresh and piney but with some bitter citrus and grass. Minerals with some toffee in the finish. Very nicely joined up. A very drinkable rye IPA. Very moorish.

33 cl. bottle poured in to a tulip. Brown-orange colour with a small white head. Lots of malts in the aroma for an IPA. Otherwise offers this beer on citrus, grapefruit and lots of hops. Taste is bitter, but the powerful caramel malts also kicks in. Medium body with a creamy texture. Long finish with lots of bittering hops and malts. A very good beer, a little expensive.

Hazy golden with sediments floating around and a small white head. decent hop aroma, grass and lemon with some bread and caramel malt. Medium bitter flavor with a medium malty sweetness, mainly grassy bitter notes towards the end. Nice ipa
