On tap at Bar Animal in Madrid. Pours a cloudy, orange-gold colored body with an inch thick, dense, foamy and frothy, off-white head that dissipates slowly and leaves a soapy lacing. Aroma is somewhat sweet with a good amount of caramels, but a nice citrus hopping and light rye spice to balance. Touches of toast and pines as well. Flavor is similar. Sweet caramels up front, but a nice spicy rye and orange hopping to balance. Some pines, toast, and a few resins towards the end before this finishes dry and bitter with a good amount of citruses and some sweet caramels. Lengthy aftertaste following a medium-full body and a soft, moderate carbonation. Overall, a solid beer. On the sweeter side, but bitter and balanced with a nice hopping and rye spice. Pretty good one.

On tap at CBC, pours a cloudy golden orange with a small off-white head. Aroma of pungent rye, fruity hops, and a sufficient caramel malt backbone. Flavour brings out pungent rye notes, piney hops, and crusty bread. The rye isn’t too overburdening, but it is certainly prominent. Solid stuff.

CBC, 2013. Hazy orange amber with a small off white head. Hoppy nose of resin, spruce, citrus. Some caramel and bready notes. Rich malty flavor, medium sweet, very hoppy, with a smooth, creamy texture and a dry, lingering bitter finish. Intense, very enjoyable.

Magnificent beer. Amber color with delicate reddish tones, white and reasonable lasting head, which leaves a deeply marked and consistent lace. Hoppy and complex aroma with traces of malts difficult to identify. Maybe bread, honey or wood. The palate is excellent, perfectly balanced and full, hoppy as well. The development is progressive, regular and longlasting, finishing in a dry and astringent final. High bodied and medium carbonated. Great.

Excellent beer. Lots of great hops and great malt character with sweetness balancing the strong bitter hopping. Pretty looks. Very good.
