Bottle sample at a tasting at Dagan’s place. Thanks avrashi. Murky brown. Aroma of malt, sherry, raisins, a bit of cardboard and a bit of chocolate notes. Sweet malty flavor with caramel, chocolate, some dark fruits notes and oxidation. Finishes drier. Medium-bodied. Not so fun.

Pours brown with a beige head. Aroma is roasted caramel, raisin, light yeast and light alcohol. Flavour is roasted caramel, sweet, raisin and alcohol

Pours a clear and dark brown beer with an offwhite head. The aroma is malt, caramel, yeast and hops with citrus. The flavor follows the nose. The palate is sweetness. Overall an average beer.

Was waiting to try this one again, tried it in december and remembered that it was very good. Aroma of dried fruit, especially raisins. Caramel, nuts and some chocolate is also in there. Aftertaste is quite sweet with good tones of raisins. This is a really good christmas ale, looking farward to the next batch when christmas is approaching.

Odense Catching Up on Stuff Left in the Cellar Event July 2012. Brown with a small off-white head. Aroma of malt, toffee and dried fruit, with a touch of vineous alcohol. Sweetish malty flavour with plenty alcohol

Pours dark brown with a small white head that recedes quickly. Murky. Nose is caramel, nutmeg, pumpkin, ginger and leather. Taste is underwhelming. Not as sharp as the nose would imply. However. It is sweet with a decent bitter presence. Mouthfeel is soft, smooth and creamy. Light body and great finish.
