COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Fyldig, rik smak fra ristede karamellmalter, utsøkt britisk humle og rosiner - ingredienser som sammen med vann og gjær også skaper den rødlige gløden og det gyldne skummet. Fyr i peisen, rull ut bjørneskinnet, hell i glasset. La Lervig Winter Ale med sine 8,3 alkoholprosenter varme opp vinterkvelden.

Tap at Cardinal. Hazy copper with a two finger thick creamy light brown head leaving a fair lacing. Candy, caramel aroma with distinct fruity tones on the nose. Herbs, candy sweat, leather and tobacco released in the mouth with acidic and salty flavors. Astringent with a dryish finish. Medium carbonation. Feel a bit raw and sharp on the edges.

Bottle from Vinmonopolet. Pours dark amber with a tiny light brown head. Aroma of raisins, caramel, roasted malt, alcohol and spices. Sweet and fruity with lots of raisins and some spices. Slightly bitter finish. Reminds me a bit about gløgg. Anyway it’s a nice winter warmer. (BF310915)

Bottle shared with esp0r. Hazy deep red with a thin beige head. Aroma of forest fruits, nuts and caramel. Taste is roasty malt with berries and spices, of course the raisins are easy to spot. Good body, great by the fire in the winter
