Very malty aroma with some raisins on the aroma. Middle of summer but hey never stopped me drinking a winter beer. It is a really malty beer. It does remind me of something like Youngs Winter Warmer when I first ever had it. I like it. Always liked winter warmers. Balanced and some hop bite on the finish. Really very good I thought. Tasty toffee and malt. Really enjoyable. Good hoppy bite on the finish. Wow, this is a good beer. Hmm, good winter warmer.

330 ml bottle shared 26.Oct.2011 at Rating Session. Cheers Rune! Hazy dark amber body with creamy head. Fermented raisin, figs and plums to the nose. Taste of pickeled fruits, with hint of coffee/toffee and cloves. Great beer for chilly winter evenings!

Clear amber color whit a small off white head. Moderated fruity aroma with caramel, some woods, candies. Medium body, light sourish character with some fruits, freaky caramel.

0,33 bottle from vinmonopolet kvadrat. 1 finger white foam with dark brown color. Nose is malty, raisins and some yeast. Can also feel some oxidatin madeira. Can feel some alcohol there also. Taste is Nice dark caramel, more raisins, some dark choco, spices. An ok winter Ale.

UPDATED: FEB 11, 2013 330ml bottle from Østre in Bergen. Small tan head. Light brown, reddish hazy body. Aroma is quite weak, but pleasant. Taste is very good, with hints of caramel, alcohol and hops.

On tap @Animal, Madrid. Aroma is phenolic, caramel, nuts. Off-white head, persistent, pours hazy dark amber. Body is medium, oily, average carbonation. Taste is malty, caramel, a bit spicy.
