Fyldig, rik smak fra ristede karamellmalter, utsøkt britisk humle og rosiner - ingredienser som sammen med vann og gjær også skaper den rødlige gløden og det gyldne skummet. Fyr i peisen, rull ut bjørneskinnet, hell i glasset. La Lervig Winter Ale med sine 8,3 alkoholprosenter varme opp vinterkvelden.

Coppery colour with an off-white head that quickly dissapears. Aroma has notes of caramel, molasses and raisins Flavor is moderate sweet with a good presence of alcohol, notes of molasses, raisins, red fruits, good maltiness. The final is slightly alcoholic with light sweet notes. Desnse and smooth on palate.

Light brown, bubbly beer with a brief beige head. Bread and earthiness on the nose. Coffee, bread, raisin, a bit dry but has a this caramelised sweetness in it. A mix of slight bitterness and sourness. Crispy carbonation. Medium body. Refreshingly different in my opinion and the sourness is in good amounts. I like this.

Short beige head. Light yellow berries aroma. Dark opaque copper body. Very little hop or malt in the taste, but a nice balance with light bitterness and average warmth. Pleasant after all. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Brunlig med lite skum. Aroma av malt, rosiner og annen tørket frukt, gjær og kanskje litt karamell? Smaken er søtlig malt og så mildt bitter, med innslag av tørket frukt, karamell og alkohol. Medium/tykk konsistens. Ok mild bitterhet i ettersmaken.

Mikon kanssa Pyöräkadulla. Not exactly my cup of beer, quite nice ale still, sweet and malty in a drinkable way.

Medium beige head. Lovely deep reddish amber body with carbonation. Sugary raisiny caramelly aroma with earthy fruity notes. Dry-sweet earthy roasty papery taste with caramelly raisiny notes. Mid-to-full body. Dry-sweet soy sauce and raisins aftertaste with earthy spicy buttery notes. Very nice, and quite unusual. (0.33l bottle, wine monopoly.)

It’s still winter with a lot of snow in the extreme north where I live, so a warming winter beer seems just appropriate on a Saturday eve. 330ml bottle, bb.31.09.15, bought at Vinmonopolet Oslo City. Pours a cloudy, apricot coloured body topped by firm amount of beige, foam that stays well and leaves fragile lacing at the glassware. Smell of sweet malts and dried fruits. Plums and raisin in flavour together with earthy malts followed by a ending containing lighter notes of yeasty fruitiness along with alcohol warmth. Well bodied, but aroma and flavour feels rather subdued (Tromsø, 16.04.2011).

Bottle (33cl) from Vinmonopolet (Storo), Oslo. Clear, reddish golden colour. Finger-thick light beige head, decent retention, settles as a thin ring. Aroma is fairly closed; needs quite a warming-up to reveal a nice, woody and sweet sherry-like aroma with toffee, dried fruit (raisins) and alcohol. Medium body, soft/average carbonation. Taste is subtle/restrained, but well-balanced with mild acidity and bitterness on a sweet malty base. Aftertaste is relatively dry and woody. OK brew, but had expected a more powerful aroma.
