Bottle. A hazy, light orange-pinkish beer topped by a small, white head. The aroma is malty and raspberry-ish, with some fruityness and lots of butterscotch. The flavor too has loads of butterscotch, with a little raspberry hints. Medium to thin on the palate, pleasant carbonation. Quenching in a way, but there’s too much butterscotch. Not a beer I’ll buy again. 120914

Rune (7775) - Tromsø, NORWAY - SEP 25, 2012
UPDATED: OCT 1, 2012 350ml draught at Henrik Øl & Vinstove, drinking with the friendly guy know as ClubGonzo. Spotty lacing from a lightly pink coloured head. The body colour is clear orange with a lighter shade of grey. Herbal dry smell of berries and fruits. Citrus, raspberries and butter in a rather unbalanced taste profile. Dry on the swallow. Unusual with some refreshments (Bergen, 17.09.2012).

Draught @ Henrik Øl og Vinstove, Bergen
Pours clear amber with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, wheat, raspberries and grass. Taste is light to medium sweet and light bitter. Body is light to medium, texture is thin, carbonation is soft.

larsga (6140) - Oslo, NORWAY - SEP 15, 2012
Medium coarseish white head. Clear pale reddish brown body with carbonation. Light nutty caramelly aroma with wild berry notes. Dry perfumy raspberry taste with caramelly papery notes. Fizzy, metallic mouthfeel. Mid-bodied. Dry metallic papery raspberry aftertaste with lingering dandelion finish. Not good at all. Smelled like Spitfire (the beer), but sadly tasted nothing like it. (0.33l bottle, Meny Grønland Torg, Oslo.)

Thin and watery stuff, more like an alcopop than a beer. Raspberry lemonade with a twist of lemon. Sorry, but go back and try again.

Pours cloudy and dirty pinkish with a non precent head. Aroma is light sour artificial berries. Taste is moderate sweet fruity, some spicy elements, coriander lingering till the end. Watery mouthfeel. Not the best from Lervig.

UPDATED: JUL 12, 2012 330 ml clear bottle, kindly shared by abemorsten, Pale pinkish slightly hazy colour, moderate white head. Moderate aroma of fruit and dust. Thin body. Sourish undefined flavour, more citrus than raspberry, not sweet, very moderate hops. A weird combination, not very successful.

0.33 L clear bottle, bought @Meny Oslo City. A layer of fisheyes, upon a red-hued gold colored body. Strange aroma. Grainy-grainy malts and red berry sap. Much of same in the flavor. Grainy, almost husky malts, paired with some sappy raspberries. No hops to speak of. A certain astingency on the palate. Light body. Some refreshing qualities. Most of all, weired.
