Tap @ CBC 2013. The pour’s deep red with a small head. The nose is rusted penny, black tea. Some red berries, strawberry jam. Earthy tang. The taste is balsamic vinegar, jam, some jelly donut. Some wood. Medium body, fine carbonation. Overall, decent.

Draught @ CBC 2013. Pours near black with a frothy beige head. Aroma is toffee, black currants, wort, wood, dark fruit, wood, sour cherries and herbs. Taste is moderate sweet and light bitter with a tart note. Body is medium, texture is soft, carbonation is moderate. Finishes dry with noticeable alcohol.

Draft. A brown beer with a tan head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, alcohol, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of citrus fruits, malt, wood, and alcohol, leading to a dry tart finish.
