Lett nøytral frisk lukt med preg av malt, humle, mørke bær, litt metall, karamell, mandelessens, maling. Lett sødmerik tørr smak med preg av malt, humle, blå druer, raude bær, tre, gras, bærskal, karamell, maling, mandelessens, litt smørkaramell. God bitterhet som set litt. Grei.

Bottle. No ’best before’ date. 10 cl. sample. Pours a reddish brown with a tan head. Aroma is oxidized, with malt and a mild fruit note. A bit like a brown ale. Develops an overtone of swimming pool (!) as it warms. Oxidized flavour with an almost sugary malt note, (dark) fruits and a bit dusty. Dryish and a bit tart finish, with more oxidized malt. Overall so-so. 01.05.15.

VBC 2015 tak til Erik Dahl. Clear reddish brown of color with a small off white head. An aroma of candy, sweets, oxidiced, wet paper, port, old prunes. A flavor of port, oxidiced, wood, dry, raisins and weak caramel.

Bottle share at VBC. Crystal clear dark brown with a small white head. Aroma reminds of a oud bruin, dark fruits. Medium body, pretty highly carbonated. Quite complex flavour. Dark fruits, a bit oxideced.

Creamy ashy beige head. Deep dark almost clack colored beer.
Aroma has loads of berries, grapes, raisin, cream, bay leaf, some caramel/mocha tones, ruharb, some nettle...
Flavours of berries, grapes, (white) vinous, dry, bitter, light light tart, some herbs, some raisin, some hay, raisin and dry herbs.
Aftertaste is a mix of bitter, herbs, some malts, honey/molasses, berries, light tart and grapes.
Low carbo, light dry white vinous mouthfeel, more than medium bodied and a light creamy dry texture.

A very dark ruby colour with a beige head. Intriguing slightly sour flavour with hints of cranberry and red wine, giving this beer a taste very redolent of Christmas. Refreshing, with hardly any flavour of hops, almost like a red wine. Good balance and character.

On tap at Cardinal. Dark brown with a creamy beige head. Sour fruit and chocolate nose and flavours. Some spiciness. Quite accomplished without appearing too extreme. Dangerously drinkable.

Bottle 33cl from Henrik, a dark beer with medium copper head. Nose is on dark chocolate and belgian yeast. Aroma is on dark chocolate with light acidity, it’s like a stout fermented with belgian yeast. Ok body, alcoholic touch, unusual beer.
