Hoppy times.

A good and hoppy amber. Nice red/copper colour and a offwhite head. Balanced beer with a light sweetness and a fresh lingering hoppy aftertaste. A very good and drinkable beer!

Tasted from the tap on the 08/07/2016 at Caminha Artbeerfest 2016. Hazy amber to red colour with a medium off white head on top. Aroma of hops, caramel and malts. Tastes the same hoppy, malty, caramel, quite bitter finish. Next one please!

330ml can at home in Richmond, as ’Lervig Aktiebryggeri Hoppy Joe’, 4.7%, BB Dec 2016. Very dark purple brown, translucent with a huge dense foamy tan head. Aroma is toffee apple, resinous, musty, powdery bonbons. Body is smooth with soft carbonation. Taste is pine-forward, powdery, floral, chalky, minerally, mint fondant sweets, dry finish. Quite decent.

Bottled, 330ml at Thirsty Meeples, Oxford. Rich, mid roasted malts with a caramel sweetness, cereals then a fruity hop note. All a little understated but easy drinking. It’s fine.

330ml : A chill fucken can design , some kinda trout wearing a skipper hat is an awesome visual . There’s lots of caramel malts , musty citrus hops , pine , wood , chewy resin . Ok stuff if you’re watching sports or anything were you don’t have to ponder on your drink ...but know each sip is ok.

330ml can. Amber colour with an off-white yellowish head. Scent of hops and brine tuna. Slightly buttery flavour, with the characteristic bitterness of an IPA.
