UPDATED: OCT 7, 2012 Tap at Bergen Ølfestival. Lovely aroma of raspberries. The beer is pretty bitter, and it tastes of rocks and minerals. Great beer!
This comment is based on tasting of the same beer - but from bottle. This is close to a totally different experience. The same hint of fruit and raspberry in the aroma, but where the tap beer was some kind of blurry and (maybe) too bitter, this one appears crystal clear and overall fantastic. Amazing combination between fruity notes and bitterness, and it looks delicious in my glass. Congratulations!

A good and hoppy amber. Nice red/copper colour and a offwhite head. Balanced beer with a light sweetness and a fresh lingering hoppy aftertaste.
A very good and drinkable beer!

This beer makes me proud to say that I'm from Stavanger. Looking amazing in sunlight, and tasting according to its looks. Definitely a beer to recommend.

Lovely glowing ruby. Inviting fruity aroma. Soft, round, malty body, pine, grass, a little citrus. Perfect balance, on the top shelf of Norwegian beers below 4.7%. Not extreme, this is for the BBQ, after beach or apre ski.

UPDATED: JUL 7, 2013 Bottle. Pours a ruby red with a small, brown head. Aroma is hoppy: Passion fruit, grapefruit, exotic fruits, pineapple. Taste is dry, hoppy and bitter. Grapefruit and passionfruit, Finishes dry with caramel. Palate is light, not watery, refreshing. A superb quaffer. Goes down like mad. May I have another, please?

330ml bottle @Cimmeria, Oviedo. Malty, caramel and spivy aromas. Pours amber, clear, with vanishing off-white head. Medium body, average carbonation, slightly crispy texture. Taste is hoppy, earthy, some caramel. Really nice and enjoyable.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Reddish brown colour, moderate head, slightly off-white. Strong aroma of fruity hops, also notes of spruce, a hint of caramel malts in the background. The flavour is distinctly hoppy throughout, but not extreme, notes of spruce and some fruit again. There might be some caramel malt (and / or Munich malt) and chocolate malt in here, but they do not dominate, the beer is fairly dry, no more residual sweetness than necessary. Very drinkable, must pair well with many foods too. Another good one from Lervig and Mike Murphy!
