COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Et middels fyldig øl med frisk og fruktig smak. Maltsødmen balanserer bitterheten fra humlen og gir ølet en rund og frodig karakter. Hoppy times.

Pours dark amber almost red. Good hops but a heavy caramel compared to the bitterness and hop flavor. Quite dry.

Meh. The name suggests a lot of hops. Well, thats not the case. Decent, but does not really deliver.

Bottle from Biernavigatie, BB 12.10.15, large sample. Clear amber color, big frothy beige head. Aroma of a typical red ale, bit burned malts, slight tea, bit fruity hops. Bit bitter in taste, malty notes, toffee, tea. Decent balance, enough complexity. Easy drinker, good beer.

Copper body, creamy head. Different than expected. Less rough but perhaps a bit thinner. Regardless, I get biscuit malts with some tea and a solid amount of English hops. Perhaps some sweet rye bread character. Taste is quite fruity considering the aroma, and again real bitter. Like almost all of the brewer’s beers that I have tried. Tangy ending. Not quite up there with the brewer’s best. But that’s okay - it is still a very well made ale. (33cl bottle from Saveur Bière)

Fast klare dunkel orangegoldene Farbe, ordentliche leicht beige Schaumkrone. Geruch sehr malzig, kräftig gehopft, bitter, reife Früchte, harzig. Geschmack nach reifen trocken Früchte, sehr hopfig bitter, viel Malz, gut!

Keg at the brewery during the Lervig Tap takeover. 25/04/2015. Hazed brown / amber coloured pour with a creamy foamy off white head. Aroma is nobel hop, spicy lemon, nutty malts. Flavour is composed of cremy nutty malts, spicy tangerine hop. Palate is semi-dry, effervescent high carbonation. Lingering hint of roast / charred bread. Bit of a strange one, but ok.

Bottle @ home. Lightly hazy amber color, medium sized beige head. Aroma is malts, lightly hops and a hint of dried fruits. Tastes about the same: malts, lightly hops, some bitter and a hint of fruits. Decent body and carbonation. Ok beer.

0.3 Flasche. Trübe, braun, leicht rötlich. Kleine Schaumkrone. Duft nach Papaya, Citrus. Harziger Geschmack, extrem trocken malzig. Roggen? Überraschend.
