Bare 2,5 % alkohol - men ingen lettvekter når det kommer til smaken! Frekk friskhet, solid bitterhet, fruktig og forførende. Lettøl i en egen klasse!

350ml bottle purchased at Eurospar Tomasjordnes. Small creamy head on a slightly hazy golden body. Fresh hops, lime, fruits, dry notes and orange peel. A bit thin, but very refreshing on a hot day. Quite okay for strength. (06.07.14)

My Bottom Line:
Concentrated grass, citrus and earth create quite the impression, leaving a portentous bitterness on this dryish low gravity IPA.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A veil of foam covers the particled cloudy beige.
-Drinkability is low for a 2.5%. Quite the feat, sadly...
-Malt character is nearly absent.
-Brash grassiness is not what I look for in a low gravity brew.

Bottle.

330 ml bottle from Les Vignerons. Pale sunrise orange, pretty clear, with a tiny, creamy, not very persistent off-white head. Quite strange aroma, definitely there is that cat piss smell (reading the label I see there is Simcoe), light berries/wild type of fruits, various spices, almost balsamic/herbal smelling overall. Perhaps some cooked vegetables or meaty notes ? Really strange indeed. Slightly better in the mouth, moderate bitterness, lingering hoppy taste, watery and light as it should be. Still some dusty/earthy notes emerging in the aftertaste, but not as unpleasent as the aroma. Relatively easy drinking. Average carbonation, light body, slightly cream texture. A bit of a let down, honestly.

Starting off with big hops and citrus. Then it becomes more and more thin with some fruits and and unpleasing bitterness.

Pours out of the bottle (many thanks to Patrick!) in a hazy light golden colour with low head and medium body. Aroma of butter biscuits and hops. Taste of butter, biscuits, cake, mild apples, hops and bread. Herbal finish. Nice one.

It’s a grassy, piney and flowery beer, golden in colour, topped by a small, dense white head. Some malty notes too, biscuits. Not much maltyness going on, it’s the hops that dominates. Nice bitterness lasting. all the way. Rather thin on the palate, but that’s understandable.

Bottle. Pours cloudy yellow with a very small head. Aroma is grassy, pine, resin, mango, quite hoppy anyway. Taste is very light sweet and light+ bitter. Body is light, texture is thin, carbonation is soft. Finishes light dry. Fine beer and drinkability!

Bottle 33 cl.
Drunk from the bottle. Lightly malty, heavy hoppy, grass, herbs and citrus, aroma. Taste is slightly thin, lightly sweet, and medium to heavy bitter.
