Overall impression: Average Norwegian grocery store dunkel.

Pours clear dark mahogany color with a small off-white head. Aroma of bread, mild nutty notes, sweetish caramel malts and hints of fruits. Flavor of nuts, malts, caramel, dried fruits and mild berry notes. Slick and somewhat bitter malty palate. A bit thin body, though not as bad as I expected.

Bottled, thanks KnutAlbert! Clear mahogany colour, mid sized head. Aroma of spicy hops and metal. Sweetish with clean hard mouthfeel and light-medium body. Sharp American style lager with metal and molasses. Low bitterness. Primitive.

0,33l bottle. Small off white head which settles along the sides. Dark red brown color. Aroma has toffee and roasted christmas spices. Power is not that powerful, a chalky finish of the same.

33cl bottle. Dark brown colour with an off-white head that quickly diminishes. Aroma is herbal, light toasty and spicy. Flavor has very slightly hints of red fruits, herbal and traces of honey. Medium bodied and carbonation. After tasting another excellent Lervig beers I expected more of this beer...

Aroma has some chocolate, roasted malt and coffee. Flavour is sweetish with roasted malt, coffee, some milk chocolate, hints of berries and syrup. A bit sticky palate. Feels like kotikalja.

330ml bottle carried back home from Meny, Oslo City. Pours a near-clear, dark amber body under a fading, beige head. Lots of bubbles across the surface. Dotted spots to the glass. Roasted dark malts with notes of nuts and earth to the nose. Taste follows the nose in addition to notes of meat, in fact. Nice roasted bitter ending (Tromsø, 22.12.2012).
