Nice, fruity aroma and a flavour of different herbs and spices. This makes it an almost perfect American style pale ale, and definetely my favourite Lervig beer.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap @ Lervig, Gladmat, Stavanger. Pours clear golden, with a finger thick creamy head. Aroma is hoppy with citrus as well as some nice tropical aroma, some spicy yeast and a nice roasted malt with caramel. Flavour is a light sour lemon and orange peel, and a sweet, roasted malt backbone with bread, chocolate and toffee. Nice bitter orange peel finish.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from ICA Alta Amfi. Smells of citrus and grapefruit, well, it smells of hops. Apperance is slightly amber, somewhat better looking than industrial pilsners. Great taste, very hoppy, it is bitter and slightly salty taste as well. Medium body, average carbonation and a bitter finish lasting a while. I think this is a very good beer, great session beer, and maybe the best low abv beer in Norway, goes great with food, and a standout beer in the norwegian supermarkets.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Supermarket in Oslo, bottle: Pours a pale copper with a whitish head. Aroma and taste are weakly hoppy and weakly malty. This is the kind of beer that most people wouldn’t bat an eyelash at in the US, and I doubt they do in Norway either.

(Bottle, Monk’s Café Wallingatan, Stockholm) Amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of apricots, orange and hints of caramel. Malty, fruity taste with orange, apricots, toast, marmalade and a generous citric bitterness in a dry, well balanced finish. Medium body, quite dry. Nice one.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle/Can@Various locations. This is a very good pale ale for being so low in alcohol. The head is not too impressive, neither are the aroma. The colour is a light yellow. The beers best selling point is the taste, which is hoppy, well-balanced and with a hint of citrus. Be aware that this beer does not store well and should be consumed when fresh.
