Lucky Jack is just about the perfect beer for summer. Grapefruit, tropical fruits and citrus flavours from the Citra and Amarillo hops are apparent in the aroma and taste. But we decided to go one step further and actually make it the perfect summer beer. Beginning this spring (2016), we’re adding grapefruit juice to some of our Lucky Jack tanks. Now you can have all the flavour of Lucky Jack with a twist: a perfect medley of citrus from the addition of grapefruit juice. It’s beautifully refershing on a hot summer day on the deck or at the beach.

Malts: Pilsner and Caramel.
Hops. Perle, Citra, Amarillo, Chinook.

Aroma: grapfruit and citrus.

Food pairings: BBQ chicken and ribs, tortillas and guachamole, fresh fruit salad.Inspirert av iddisen Senior, Stavanger Norway.

C’est vraiment sympathique comme bière et je le dis sans ironie ! Amertume discrète et fruitée. Alcool léger. Agréable, passe très bien

Can from Coppers, Newcastle. Hazy pale golden coloured with a thin white foamy head. It has tropical fruit and orange flavours, a malty body followed by bitter pine on the finish. Great.

Airy but nice foam. Mild hop aroma a bit of passion fruit kind of murky yellow. Bitter aftertaste but perfectly not too much.

Aroma av sitrus, kunne gjerne hatt litt mer snert. Samme i smaken, tørr. Kunne gjerne hatt noe mer sødme/maltkarakter. Fin bitter ettersmak. God butikkøl. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

0,33 l bottle, bought at Brolters, Bremen. Nice label. Unclear golden, one finger white head. A lot of smaller sediments. Very low carbonated. Tropical fruity and hopy on the nose. Taste starts very bitter, grapefruity to citrus. Some caramell hints in the middle part. Getting a synthetic fruity taste with sweetness and lower but present bitterness.

Excelente.

Slightly hazy golden color with good white head. Really hoppy aroma, really fresh hops, with grapefruit and sweet citrus fruits. Extremely great drinkability, really sessionable with lively carbonation. Taste follows the aroma, grapefruit, mango, bubblegum, piney and citrusy, with a medium longing bitterness. Really nice.

Very simple straightforward APA with notes of something went wrong - bit diacetyl, tho not too disturbing. Malty profile with citrusy hops, bit pine. Moderate to light bitterness all the way. Boring, but not too bad
