Lucky Jack is just about the perfect beer for summer. Grapefruit, tropical fruits and citrus flavours from the Citra and Amarillo hops are apparent in the aroma and taste. But we decided to go one step further and actually make it the perfect summer beer. Beginning this spring (2016), we’re adding grapefruit juice to some of our Lucky Jack tanks. Now you can have all the flavour of Lucky Jack with a twist: a perfect medley of citrus from the addition of grapefruit juice. It’s beautifully refershing on a hot summer day on the deck or at the beach.

Malts: Pilsner and Caramel.
Hops. Perle, Citra, Amarillo, Chinook.

Aroma: grapfruit and citrus.

Food pairings: BBQ chicken and ribs, tortillas and guachamole, fresh fruit salad.Inspirert av iddisen Senior, Stavanger Norway.

330ml can . Reminds me of and resembles the iconic APA SNPA kinda . That’s fucken praise but it’s more subdued than SNPA overall . Easy drinking light grapefruit hop nuances ,citrus must and sweet caramel backbone. Nice

This beer is slightly cloudy (unfiltered) golden yellow. It has a good head and a medium hop bitterness. Freshness really has an impact on this product as the fresher the better. Aroma is hoppy, but light. This is definitely a hop forward beer, with more grapefruit and resiny bitterness than floral soft. A good beer that should be enjoyed cold.

330ml can from M&S. Medium sized white head, a little lacing, hazy golden amber body. Tropical fruit nose, lots of sweetness. Juicy hop flavour, mango, grapefruit, mandarin. Gentle bitterness on the finish becomes more pronounced as it lingers. Light carbonation, surprisingly thick mouthfeel, a little oily. Really really drinkable.

UPDATED: JUL 28, 2016 A little fruity with cheesy yeast. Ok but nothing outstanding. Better than anything I can buy at the supermarket

Golden yellow color with foam layer. Hoppy bitter nose. Bitter hoppy taste with a dry and shy, but creamy body. Citrus and tropical touch. Dry and bitter aftertaste.
