Bottle. Clear golden with a medium sized diminishing white head. Hoppy nose, pine, herbal. Flavour is light/medium hoppy (pine, wood, earth, dry grass, flowers, white cheese) and light malty (grain, light biscuit, white bread). Light/medium body, thin texture, soft/medium carbonation. Little sweetness, medium bitter, dry finish. A bit thin and rough.

Fruit, malt, citrus and pine in the aroma. Golden with a white head. Medium sweet and medium to heavy bitter. Light body with a average carbonation. Overall a really nice one, nice fruityness and great bitterness.

I tested this one during a business trip in Stavanger. A very nice surprise. I didn’t expect too much and I was stunned. I drank 2 other beers from Lervig during the diner and all of them got the same smell in the nose.

First Norwegian beer ever. Good lager, could have several of these at the pub. All in all, a nice surprise.

On tap at Cask Bar & Kitchen. Appearance: slightly hazy yellow with little to no head. Aroma: good amount of pine needle hops, citrus rind and mango. Flavour: bitter at first, becomes sweeter, a little pine and citrus, nicely balanced, lovely long hoppy finish. Quite lovely.

Keg in the CBC Clapham. This was a rich amber, slightly hazy beer with a medium white foam head. Nose was citrous punchy with grapefruit dominating and then some light tropical fruit mango and passion fruit. Bit of musty grain in there too and some pine. Taste was grapefruit citrous, lime, mango and some pine, with a bit of subtle caramel malt character. Decent pale ale more along the lines of an American IPA.

Keg in Craft Clapham. Quite light yellowy colour, thin head. Some bitterness from the hops, hints of citrusy grapefruit, slighly sherbety, pine. Somehow a bit clunky, didn’t feel balanced, maybe lacking malt character. Wasn’t unpleasant but I woudn’t have had another.

Flaske fra Meny Skjetten, kjøpt etter gjentatte oppfordringer fra Arne. Klar kobberfarget med hvitt skum. Medium kullsyre. Litt bitter, lukt av grape / sitrus. God syrlig ettersmak, en veldig god butikkøl!

Hazy amber, not much head. At Brasserie Posten, Geiranger. Light and mellow for APA, the hops are a bit disjointed, but the balance is straight SNPA.
