Lucky Jack is just about the perfect beer for summer. Grapefruit, tropical fruits and citrus flavours from the Citra and Amarillo hops are apparent in the aroma and taste. It’s beautifully refershing on a hot summer day on the deck or at the beach.

Hops. Perle, Citra, Amarillo, Chinook.

Aroma: grapfruit and citrus.

Food pairings: BBQ chicken and ribs, tortillas and guachamole, fresh fruit salad.Inspirert av iddisen Senior, Stavanger Norway.

Sampled @ Borefts ’15. The beer that saved me from my hangover!! Pours a clear golden beer with thin white head non top. Aroma is grassy, citrussy, hayish. Flavor is light bitter, fruity and very easy going. Decent stuff with light carbonation and short bitter finish.

Bottle at løkka brygghus. Light brown color with a small head that sticks to the rim. Pretty fruity aroma, nice bitter finish, the amarillo, citra and chinook blend really shows good here. Will buy again!

Bottle. Golden, hazy, average and fully diminishing head. Moderate, malty and sweetish aroma, some caramel and tropical fruitiness, some grapefruit - piney hoppyness. Body is medium, malty and sweetish flavor, some caramel and tropical fruitiness, some grapefruit - piney hoppyness. Finish is average, malty and lightly sweetish, some caramel and light tropical fruitiness with bit sharp piney hoppyness. OK APA , bit too sweet for me - in the finish hoppyness gets bit sharp and soapy.

Tap at Cardinal. Tanned, creamy head on a slightly hazy golden body. Inviting citrus, floral, perfume aroma. Excellent lacing as the beer goes down. Acidic metallic at first but quickly the malts and hops takes over. Light sweet and bitter with grassy notes. Light to medium body. Rich carbonation. Dry finish. Widely available on bottle in the Stavanger area, and at bars in Oslo. Even my closest grocery store has it, hence this has become my standard drink, when not rating.
