Pale Ale på ekte amerikansk vis. Florlett, fruktig og forførende friskt. You might get lucky, Jack!

Bottle 33 cl. Clear deep golden with an off-white head. Very hoppy, fresh citrussy nose with grapefruity accents. Flavor is sweet fruitiness with lots of citrussy, aromatic fresh hops and a very decent medium bitter finish. Light body, and a dry, light metallic finish.

Bottle bought at ICA. The ale has a bronze color with a rather small head. The aroma is sweet and fruity. Tropical fruits. Taste is also slightly fruity, sweet combined with a balanced bitterness. Medium body. All in all a well crafted american ale.

Bottle. Clear golden with a creamy white head that leaves nice lacings. The aroma is peachy hops, citrus, caramel and light notes of passion fruit. The flavour is peaches, citrus, light pine, light caramel and a slight touch of metal.

Bottle (33cl) from Centra, Oslo. Clear golden colour. Finger-thick white head with great retention, leaving nice flame-shaped lacings. Sour and hoppy aroma with sweat, grapefruit and butter. Light/medium body, average carbonation. Great hoppy bitter and slightly metallic taste, but the sourness becomes too dominating for my liking. Long, nicely bitter aftertaste.

330ml bottle brought back home from Meny Grønland Torg in Oslo. Near-clear, amber-gold. Small, white head. Great aroma of succulent citrus hops with notes of fresh orange and lemon. Hay and grass in flavour followed by a smooth, hop bitter end. Easy to quaff. Very moreish with session qualities (shared with Finn at Finns in Tromsø, 16.06.2011).

Another lovely designed label from Lervig, I simply adore these retro looking masterpieces! The beer itself is also very good looking: a clear, golden orange body with a small white head with good lacing. Excellent fruity aroma with grapefruit, peach, apricot and melon. The taste is is not as extraordinary as the aroma, but still very nice: medium bitter, a slight touch of sweetness and also a tiny bit of acidity? Citric flavours with grapefruit, and also some subtle sweet fruity hints in the aftertaste, strawberries perhaps? The body and texture are rather thin, and I’m so close to awarding a lousy 2 for the palate. Medium to lively carbonation. Apart from the thin mouthfeel, I really liked this one!
[33 cl bottle, from Meny Grønland, Oslo]

33cl bottle at Amundsen. Pale yellow colour with a medium big white head. Aroma is hoppy and laden with tropical fruits. Flavour is a bit of a let down. The hops is present as well as some floral and grassy notes, but unfortunately they are soon merged with metallic notes. Aftertaste is short and a weird mixture of hops and metal at first, but the metal vanished after a short while and the hops keeps on lingering.
