Pale Ale på ekte amerikansk vis. Florlett, fruktig og forførende friskt. You might get lucky, Jack!

Can from Wine Emporium 271114. Surprised by how good this beer was. Citrus fills the nose and there is a distinct hop presence throughout this beer.

33cl bottle@home. Really nice floral hop aroma when poured into a tall glass. Nice white head which stays on the amber brew for long enough. Pleasant low carbonation. A bit watery texture subtracts - the low alcohol perhaps? Complex taste of hops and malts and a long, lingering aftertaste. Seems to gain bitterness with each gulp - with perhaps a bit too much before the hoppy aftertaste kicks in. A nice APA all in all - very tasty and not too much alcohol-

Bottle from Rudat in Dortmund. The beer has got a hazy golden-amber colour with a small head and medium body. Aroma of hops and fruits. Taste of hops, barley, bread, citrus fruits, grapefruit and pine. Hoppy-fruity-dry finish. Enjoyed it.

Golden shiny body, creamy head. Crisp, spicy, citrus, hay, dried flowers. Rich aroma but not very deep perhaps. Hey, it’s a sub 5% abv beer! Solid bitterness, bit short on the end. Yes it doesn’t have enough to match the richness of a full on ipa and you have to like the spicy edge, but it you don’t care much for this one, the brewer offers so much other great hoppy brews! Personally I like it as a startup beer. (33cl bottle from Saveur Bière)

0.33L bottle. Tropical fruits, stale vegetable aroma. Cloudy orange color, medium size white top. Very nice taste. Everything seems balanced. Nice fruity, hop, light grass and barnyard flavours. Very nice medium bitter finish.

Aroma av sitrus, kunne gjerne hatt litt mer snert. Samme i smaken, tørr. Kunne gjerne hatt noe mer sødme/maltkarakter. Fin bitter ettersmak. God butikkøl. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

(Lervig Lucky Jack) Tap at Borefts ’15. Golden yellow colour on the body, mostly clear, with a small and thin white head, with okay retention. Slightly malty aroma, with nice notes of citrus and grass. Taste has citrus, light orange, lemon and light malts. Medium thin body, carbonation on the hih side. Very good and clean.

Can sample at a tasting at Max’s place. Thanks Tom L. Hazy golden-yellow with medium white head. The aroma is piney, some onion notes, citrus and grassy. Bitter flavor with notes of citrus (lemon, orange), some onion, piney and grassy. Medium-bodied. Nice and fresh.

330 ml bottle (filtered and pasteurised), also sampled unpasteurised on tap, both courtesy of Lervig brewery. Deep golden colour, big to moderate white head. Very nice aroma of American hops (Chinook, Amarillo and Citra - also dry hopped), notes of orange marmalade and pine. Refreshing flavour with distinct hoppy notes throughout, citric and resinous notes, not too sweet, bitter finish. Light bodied, ideally this should have been a beer around 5.6% ABV, but then you have the Norwegian limit at 4.75% ABV for beers sold in grocery stores, making it necessary to compromise. Still, this is an enjoyable beer as it is.
