Tap at Whats brewing-14. Black, with aroma of bourbon, roasted malts, plums and liquorice. Taste is powerful, yet quite balanced. Loads of vanilla and mocha . Lingers for minutes. Love it - the best dark beer i’ve had from Lervig, ever.

On tap at Bergen Ølfestival. It pours a black body under a dense, two-finger sized brown head that lasts. Sweet mocha-ish aroma with lots of chocolate, some licorice and alcohol, as well as some molasses. It’s full-bodied, warming and with flavors of mocha and chocolate dominating. A nice bitterness balances the sweetness, and there’s also the same licorice and molasses known from the aroma. Lasting finish. A sipper, a glass may well last for an hour in this company. 140906
