On tap @ Cardinal. Unclear reddish orange body with a medium sized, dense, lacing head. Looks pretty nice actually. Aroma is distinct Sorachi Ace, i.e. a bit weird, undefined fruity, spices and hint of pine and some wet grass. Flavor is sweet, medium malty, caramel, dry fruit, slightly spicy and rather bitter. Nice, balanced body and decent aftertaste. A bit weird, body and bitterness feels more balanced than the actual flavor in this beer.

Quite ok, but less complex and too unbalanced to make me really pleased. The bitterness is at a great level, but lacks depth. Too few other tastes, but the aroma feels good, but some floral notes and fruityness.

Klar gyllen farve med lyst skum. Lukt av dill og humle. Smak av malt, dill, sitrus og humle. Rar men interresant smak. Melkebaren.

Keg at Draft House. They created a Norweigian ambience by setting the price at £9 a pint. It’s an attractive dark amber colour, still, dense foamy off-white head. Aroma is toffee, Sorachi hop, mint. Body is medium, low carbonation, slightly foamy. Taste is all classic Sorachi - coconut, spearmint, touch of orange pop (or orange soda as Kel would say). Soft bitterness. Not bad, but not mind blowing either.

On tap at Cardinal, Stavanger. Pours deep amber with a thin head. Sweet tropical nose, aroma of lichees, milk, and caramel malt. Bitter-sweet taste with malt, exotic fruits and perfume. Unique beer.

On tap at Grünerløkka Mat & Mikro Festival 2014. Light amber body with a small white head. Aroma of banana, coconut, apricot. Taste is medium sweet, caramel, with mild sorachi coconut and bubblegum characteristics, slightly citric and herbal. Dry mild spicy finish.
